Buckingham Search - Chicago, ILOverviewOur client is a highly acquisitive organization seeking finance expertise to help drive continued growth and play a key role in achieving operational goals. This role will report directly to the Finance Director and work closely with cross-functional business partners, gaining high visibility to key stakeholders such as board members and C-suite through the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.The ideal candidate will be driven, detail-oriented, and an agile team player with strengths in financial analysis, modeling, and planning to support strategic business decisions.Responsibilities:

• Complete financial analyses and modeling supporting key strategic and financial decisions.
• Play a critical role in preparing annual budget and monthly forecasts.
• Make recommendations to internal stakeholders informed by financial analysis and ongoing monitoring of business performance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for key stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with broader finance/accounting teams.Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or corporate finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field; master's degree and/or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Strong experience in financial modeling and analysis; well-versed in P&L.
  • Solution-oriented mindset and work approach; glass half full mentality.
  • Advanced Excel skills; strong in PowerPoint.
