Locates basic equipment & supplies. Identifies & demonstrates methods of surgical reprocessing of instrumentation & supplies. Prepares self for the scrub role. Prepares surgical instrument supplies for surgery.Position Requirements:Minimum Education: Required:High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education.Preferred: Associates Degree Specify Degree(s): Surgical TechnologyMinimum Experience: Required: Less than one year of previous job-related experiencePreferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experienceLicensure/Certifications: Required: CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)Preferred: Certified Surgical TechnologistAt Loyola, we know you're more than your job.
