This position is a hands-on, high-energy role for this growing entrepreneurial business and will report to the Controller. This role is a considered hybrid, currently NexTerra works four days in the office and one day remote (subject to change). RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Vendor invoice processing, vouchering and image scanning Manage invoice approval process Weekly processing of ACH/check runs Respond to vendor inquiries Manage company credit card program and T&E reporting Prepare accruals in support of month-end and year-end closing processes Vendor set up and maintenance (as needed, backup coverage) Processing sales invoices and applying payments (as needed, backup coverage) Ensure internal controls are effective and make recommendations to improve internal controls as needed EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: --- Proficient computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. --- Excellent organizational and time management skills. --- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. --- Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures. --- Accurate and detailed oriented. --- Ability to multi-task and accomplish all assignments in a timely manner. --- Must be dependable and trustworthy. --- Must be a team player and demonstrate positive work behaviors and attitude. --- Must be professional in interactions with suppliers, customers and staff.
