Job Description:
A company is looking for a Reauthorization Specialist to obtain
and maintain insurance authorizations for respiratory therapy
services.
Key Responsibilities
Initiate and manage authorization requests to insurance payers for
Respiratory Therapy
Review authorization approvals and denials, initiating appeals as
necessary
Maintain accurate documentation of authorizations and
communications in the patient's chart
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in a medical office or patient contact role
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Outbound calling experience required
Medical reimbursement background preferred
