the day will look likeResponsible for Global Emergency Operations
Center, Global Travel Risk, Proactive Security Intelligence,
Special Contingency, Event Security, and Executive Protection:
- Provides oversight for programs and drives adoption of global
standards in the function.
- Accountable for developing and implementing risk management
strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Helps champion change initiatives.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement that will
improve the function.
- Perform risk assessments, identify issues and/or control gaps,
and recommend remediation plans.
- Innovate automated solutions to drive greater efficiencies with
dynamic and static data across travel, facility and
resiliency.
- Act as global lead for crisis and incident management thru the
Global Emergency Operations Center (GEOC).
- Develop the travel risk management process, awareness and
advocacy program across the firm.
- Led the event security and Executive Protection strategy and
operating model.
- Optimize automation through our networked solutions in CVENT,
Critical Event Management and risk intelligence.
- Identify, coordinate and complete tabletop exercises as needed
and according to various regional/country regulatory
obligations/requirements.
- Support high level Aon events in-person which directly face the
clients.
- High decision-making responsibility. Acts independently to
determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Decisions have
a major day to day impact on area of responsibility.
- Lead a global team.
- Manage project implementations, timelines, deliverables and
change management from internal customers and stakeholders for GSS
initiatives, identify roadblocks to success and solution options to
move forward.
- Lead talent activities, such as organizational design,
coordination of talent & performance reviews, and development of
engagement plans.Skills and experience that will lead to
success
- 8-10 years of experience in global security.
- Ability to independently lead large-scale program(s).
- Possesses strong ability to work with and influence senior
leaders.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- A strong executive presence, well-developed presentation,
interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented
environment.
- Communicate with clarity, conviction, and confidence across all
levels, both up and down the organization. Able to understand and
work in a large scale, complex matrix environment.
- Aon business knowledge (Required).
- Working knowledge of Everbridge system (Required).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and
SharePoint.Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of

salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is
$160,000 to $180,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on
applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well
as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may
also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The
salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of
Chicago, IL. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a
different geographic location.This position is eligible to
participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an
annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount
of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of
the applicable incentive plan.A summary of all the benefits offered
