  • Review and thoroughly understand the entire project scope
  • Review and thoroughly understand the project documentation
  • Perform jobsite setup including temp utilities, permanent utilities, dumpsters, job trailers, barricades, fencing, signage, etc.
  • Run Field Foreman Meetings to communicate our expectations for each week.
  • Develop a relationship with owner's onsite personnel.
  • Manage cost related to base contract, change orders and T&M requests.
  • Prepare the four-week look ahead and review against master schedule weekly
  • Prepare daily journal reports for onsite construction activity
  • Coordinate subcontractors on-site to complete work to our company's high workmanship standards
  • Manage job site to ensure safety procedures are followed, quality control standards are met, equipment and techniques are used properly and to check production.
  • Manage completion of final inspections, occupancy requirements, as-built drawings, and punch list during closeout of projects.Education And Experience
    • 10+ years experience as a Construction Superintendent
    • 5+ experience managing construction projects in the Chicago, IL area
    • 5+ years experience managing vertical construction projects
