Job Description:

The position of Registered Nurse (RN, RN II, RN III) involves providing professional nursing care to facilitate patients in achieving and maintaining their maximum physical, emotional, and social functions. This role is governed by the Nurse Practice Act, administrative codes, professional standards for nursing practice, and hospital policies. The Registered Nurse collaborates with the health team and provides patient information to ensure compliance with statutes. The role includes working on adult or child/adolescent inpatient units with part-time and full-time opportunities available. Various shift options are offered, including day shift, PM shift, and NOC shift. Job duties encompass patient care implementation, physical and mental patient assessments, collaboration with the clinical team, communication with patients and families, and medication administration. Educational/training requirements include a Bachelor's degree in nursing, state board licensing, CPR certification, formal training in aggressive patient management, and previous psychiatric experience.
